So finals week is finally starting to get to me. I'm moving to a new apartment soon and crazy studying for finals and for the LSAT. I'm pretty much busy all the time and I've fallen behind on fun things...like the blog.

But whilst online window shopping today I cam across this gem from Free People. This cannot be any more awesomely cool. If I lived near an ocean (I don't think the lake counts) I would take up surfing just so I could wear this! I think this surf suit is so flippin cute and am considering buying it just beccause.

Maybe all of these aren't the best for actual swimming and floundering around in the water. But hot damn, they are cute! Throw a floppy hat and some sunnies on and I could totally see myself asking the beach boy for another drink!

wicker park.

I'm still exploring all the neighborhoods of Chicago but Wicker Park has become my new favorite. I moved to the Loop from a small town in Michigan last August for school so I'm a little slow-going investigation wise but I'm coming along! Either way. 

If you want to score some cheap vintage (and sometimes not so cheap) then Wicker Park is the place to go. I've been trading a lot of my old and tired clothes in for new and exciting pieces that definitely spring up my wardrobe! 

Plus there are some amazingly cool bars and cafes lining the streets. It's an awesome neighborhood that everyone should check out if they get a day.

Seriously loving the wild flower prints! They look amazing paired together with a clashing yet well mixing pair or just as an accent. Love the sandals with denim cutoffs. And the Opening Ceremony bathing suit! Seriously?! What a steal at $170! What a fantastic way to bring in spring!

Seriously. Nasty Gal is one of the greatest clothing sites ever. Not only are their clothes fantasticly stylish and awesome but they are affordable. I stalk this website daily not only for my closet but also for outfit inspiration. The styling is great! And the vintage...

My birthday is in a week, and while I dislike celebrating I do use it as an excuse to myself things! These Urbanears headphones have been plaguing my dreams for a few weeks now...and I'm going for it. They are gorgeously simplistic, yet very trendy. I'm seriously in love with them.Of course I want this purple color, but every color under the rainbow is available!
